I had booked this hotel thru AAA but when we checked in I was advised the weekend rate was even better and was given that rate. ABC was at the desk when we checked in and was great at answering my questions and providing change so I get get all our laundry washed in the nice laundry room before leaving out on a very early flight the next AM. In fact, after an hour or so he called to check and make sure the room met our expectations. The young lady at the desk the next AM provided us some breakfast items, even though it was not even time for her to set up the complimentary breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and it is really convenient to the airport. The area was quiet and we even spent a few minutes watching the rabbits play in the vacant lot next door. I would definitely recommend this hotel for visits in the Albuquerque area.

Clean, large room with kitchenette and full size refridge and microwave. Spacious bathroom . Good location to airport, did not hear any flight noise during the night, and only about 3/4 mile from the university campus. Small outdoor pool and spa, many guests seen with pets and no smoking allowed in the room which I appreciated. Easy access to the freeway and rental car airport location. Decent choices for breakfast -cold or continental only offered.

There are three Marriott facilities together: Fairfield, Courtyard, TownePlace. They all share the shuttle with Fairfield, but it is a truly small van. We were there during the balloon festival, so we kept our rental car overnight. On early departures, it's really easy to drive straight down Yale to the Departure Terminal, check your baggage outside (my wife actually took our bags inside, where there was no line), then drive to the rental car facility. Makes everything easy. The drive to the terminal is less than 5 minutes. These units aren't as classy as the Residence Inn formats, but they are spacious enough; including truly separate kitchenette facilities: this was a genuine ""apt sized"" area that was fully stocked with plates, pans, utensils, soap, paper towels, a coffee maker, and whatever you might expect from a well managed facility. The weekend rates are better than rooms at either the Fairfield or the Courtyard. We had our two room suite upgraded to three rooms; the cost was $$ on Saturday night, whereas Fairfield was $$$ and the Courtyard was $$$. Only potential downside is the neighborhood itself, because there is only an Applebee's Restaurant (however, you can walk to it). There is a nearby Mall with a much better selection of restaurants, but you'll need to get directions and drive close to 15 minutes. This airport area is a low end district, and it takes some time to drive out of it. But if you want a quiet night close to the airport, with dependable facilities: this is the corner.
